CSIS is hiring IT grads for analyst jobs and you can make over $100,000 a year

CSIS is currently hiring IT grads and professionals to work in a bunch of IT analyst jobs.

  • Server, Storage, Backup and Cloud Infrastructure (Platforms)
  • Network Technology and Security
  • IT Application Support/System Administration
  • Communication Technology
  • Mechanical and Electrical Engineering

The positions are located in Ottawa and you can apply if you’re a Canadian citizen.

These are high-paying jobs as the salary ranges from $82,846 to $100,769 a year or $93,581 to $113,833 a year, depending on the job level.

You need to have graduated from a two-year program at a post-secondary institution with a specialization in:

  • computer science
  • information technology
  • engineering
  • network security
  • cyber security
  • another specialty relevant to the position

Any higher level of education like a bachelor’s degree in a related field of study could be recognized as experience.

For level six positions, which are considered developmental positions, no experience is required.

But for level seven positions, you need an undergraduate degree plus one year of relevant experience, or a technologist diploma or professional technologist equivalency designation plus two years of relevant experience.

Some positions only require you to know English and others are « bilingual non-imperative » which means CSIS will help you become bilingual in English and French.
