BC's 2025 spring weather forecast is out and it's not going to be the usual

The Farmers’ Almanac has revealed its 2025 spring forecast, and while things are set to heat up it’s not going to be the typical spring weather in B.C.

Although some parts of the province saw a long stretch of dryness this winter, the weather forecast for the spring is looking especially damp.

It’s good news for those eager to see winter’s end because the 2025 Old Farmer’s Almanac forecast said that spring in the western part of Canada will « bring warmer-than-normal temperatures. »

For Southern B.C. the forecast says that the higher-than-normal temperatures will be in April, but they’re expected to drop slightly below normal in May. Along with the good news though, comes some bad. Western provinces are also set to be « wetter than usual » this spring, so make sure to have your rain gear ready.

The forecast said that for Southern B.C. specifically the « precipitation will be well above normal » with « ongoing rainy periods. »

According to another extended weather forecast released by Farmers Almanac, the B.C. forecast is looking messy for the spring. Although Easter Sunday should be « fair » the weather is then set to turn « unsettled, especially along Pacific Coast. »

Buckle up British Columbia, because it’s set to be a particularly rainy season ahead!
