Chick-fil-A is expanding in Canada yet again, now heading to B.C. after the recent success it had with new locations in Alberta.
The popular U.S. fried chicken chain opened three new locations in Calgary and Edmonton last year and just announced that B.C. will get five to seven of its own in the upcoming years.
According to a recent press release from Chick-fil-A, the new restaurants in B.C. should be open by 2030, with the first of the locations set to open « by late 2027 or early 2028. »
« The incredible reception Chick-fil-A received when we expanded into Alberta this past year really energized us as we planned our next steps in Canada. British Columbia has a number of vibrant, thriving communities across the province that makes it such a great place for us to grow, » Jessica Sisk Roehle, director of restaurant development in Canada for Chick-fil-A said in the release.
The restaurant is also moving to expand even more in other parts of the country, and soon. Eight new restaurants are in the works across Ontario and Alberta for 2025, which will mark « the most openings in Canada in any year since the first Chick-fil-A restaurant opened in 2019, » the release said.
